Setup guide for FullEnrich's HubSpot application

FullEnrich's HubSpot application integrates FullEnrich contacts and companies with HubSpot contacts and companies, which lets you:

  • Push contacts enriched in FullEnrich into HubSpot, with deduplication and a review step for uncertain matches.

  • Select any HubSpot list, new or existing, and enrich it from FullEnrich, with results written back to the same records.

Before you start

You need:

  • Admin access to your HubSpot account.

  • A FullEnrich account with admin access. You can create one during installation.

  • Credits in your FullEnrich workspace. The integration is included on every plan at no extra cost, and credits are consumed only when data is found.

💡 One HubSpot portal connects to one FullEnrich workspace.

Step 1: Install the app

  1. In HubSpot, click the Marketplace icon in the top navigation, then App Marketplace.

  2. Search for FullEnrich and open the listing.

  3. Click Install app.

  4. Sign in to FullEnrich, or create an account.

  5. Review the requested permissions, select the checkbox, and click Connect app.

Initial sync. After the connection is made, FullEnrich syncs your existing HubSpot data. This takes between 1 and 30 minutes and only happens once. You will see the sync status in the FullEnrich app. Enrichment and push are unavailable until it completes.

Step 2: Configure your field mapping

In FullEnrich, open your HubSpot settings. You will see two sections in the Field mapping screen: Contact and Company. For both, the left column is the FullEnrich field, the right column is the HubSpot property it writes to.

For each field, choose a rule:

  • Complete if missing: only writes when the HubSpot property is empty. Existing values are never touched.

  • Overwrite: replaces the existing value with the enriched one.

Recommended starting point: set emails and phone numbers to complete if missing so you never overwrite a number a rep worked to find, and set job title to overwrite so it stays current.

You can change the mapping at any time. Rules are evaluated at the moment results are written.

Use-case #1: Push enriched contacts into HubSpot

Contacts you enrich in FullEnrich, individually or through a CSV upload, can be pushed into HubSpot.

  1. From a FullEnrich list of enriched contacts, start the push.

  2. FullEnrich sorts each contact into one of three groups:

    • Definitely already in your CRM, matched on first name, last name, and company. These are updated. You see a preview of which fields will change and which will not, based on your mapping rules.

    • Definitely not in your CRM, with no possible match found. These are created.

    • Uncertain, where a similar contact exists but the match is not confident, for example a partial name or an existing duplicate.

  3. Review every uncertain match. For each one, either select the existing contact to update, or confirm it is a different person and create a new record.

  4. Confirm the push.

Use-case #2: Enrich a HubSpot list

  1. In FullEnrich, open the CRM Enrichment section.

  2. Select one or more HubSpot lists from the dropdown. A list you have just created in HubSpot works the same as one you have had for years (please note: lists you just created can take a few minutes to appear in FullEnrich)

  3. Choose what to search for: work email, mobile phone, or both.

  4. Click Enrich list.

FullEnrich runs its waterfall across every contact in the selection. Results are written back to HubSpot according to your field mapping rules.

You can select several lists in a single run, up to 5,000 contacts.

About Credits

  • A work email costs 1 credit. A mobile number costs 10 credits.

  • Credits are consumed only when data is found. Nothing found, nothing charged.

  • Re-enriching the same contact with the same inputs within 3 months returns the stored result instantly at no credit cost. After 3 months a fresh search runs and consumes credits normally. This is a data retention limit.

  • Push and CRM Enrichment use standard credit rates. There is no extra cost, add-on, or separate plan for the HubSpot integration.

  • Credits are shared across your FullEnrich workspace.

Troubleshooting

  • Nothing happened after connecting. The initial sync takes up to 30 minutes. Enrichment and push become available once it completes.

  • Results did not appear on the HubSpot record. Check your field mapping. Unmapped fields are stored in FullEnrich but not written to HubSpot.

  • A value was not replaced. The field rule is set to complete if missing.

  • Nothing was found for some contacts. Not every person has a discoverable email or mobile number. You are not charged for what is not found.

  • Some contacts were skipped. They were missing the inputs enrichment needs. Add a company name, a company domain, or a LinkedIn URL.

  • Your workspace ran out of credits. Add credits in FullEnrich billing and run again. Nothing was charged for the incomplete portion.

  • A contact was deleted or merged in HubSpot mid-run. The write-back for that record fails and is logged in your FullEnrich enrichment history. The result remains available in FullEnrich.

Disconnect the app

To disconnect: in FullEnrich, open your HubSpot settings and disconnect. Push and enrichment stop. Data already written to HubSpot stays in HubSpot.

Uninstall the app

To uninstall: in HubSpot, go to Settings > Integrations > Connected Apps, find FullEnrich, and click Uninstall. Access is revoked. Data already written to your records stays in HubSpot, and your enrichment history stays in FullEnrich.
