How to Enrich Contacts in FullEnrich: A Step-by-Step Guide

Learn how to enrich contacts in FullEnrich - manually, in bulk, through the API, or using no-code integrations like Zapier and Make.

Overview

You can enrich contacts in FullEnrich manually, in bulk, through the API, or using no-code integrations.

FullEnrich will:

  • Search across 20+ verified data providers

  • Return results with confidence scores

  • Let you add contacts to lists, export results, or push to HubSpot


Required Data

To start an enrichment, your data must include either:

  • first name + last name + company name or website, and/or

  • LinkedIn profile URL (format: https://www.linkedin.com/in/username/)

Note: For the most accurate results, include the contact’s name, company (name or website), and LinkedIn URL together.


Why Add LinkedIn URLs

Including a LinkedIn profile URL improves match accuracy by up to 35% and unlocks richer company and contact insights, such as:

  • Company Information:

    • company description

    • company LinkedIn URL

    • website

    • industry

    • company type (e.g., private, public, association)

    • date of establishment

    • address

    • headcount

  • Contact Information:

    • professional email address

    • mobile phone number

    • LinkedIn job title

    • LinkedIn profile description

    • LinkedIn profile ID

    • company name associated with the contact


Choose What to Enrich

Select the specific data points you want to enrich:

  • personal phone number

  • work email address

  • personal email address

Or any combination of the above.


Enabling Personal Email Enrichment

Recruiters can enable personal email enrichment by navigating to:
Settings → All Settings → Workspace,
then toggling Enable personal email enrichments to activate this feature.


Enrichment Type Costs

  • 1 phone number = 10 credits

  • 1 work email address = 1 credit

  • 1 personal email address = 3 credits


Processing Times

  • Emails: 1–2 minutes per contact

  • Phone numbers: 40–80 seconds per contact

Enrichments run in the background - you can close your browser and return anytime.

You’ll also receive an email notification when your enrichment is complete.


Option 1: Enrich Contacts via CSV or Excel (Bulk Upload)

1. Navigate to the Bulk Enrichment Option

  • Click Enrichment on top left of your page.

  • Select Enrich CSV/Excel

2. Prepare Your File

Include one of the following:

  • first name + last name + company name/website, and/or

  • LinkedIn profile URL

Before uploading, remove empty rows or irrelevant columns to prevent mapping errors.


3. Upload and Map Columns

  • Upload your CSV/Excel file by clicking Upload CSV/XLSX or dragging your file into the upload box.

  • Match your columns to FullEnrich fields (e.g., Company Website -> Website). Toggle First line contains headers if your first row has column titles.

  • At the top of the page, select the data types to enrich, then click Continue.


4. Review Your Data

  • Verify contact validity: Ensure all entries are correct.

  • Ignore unwanted contacts: Click the X beside the contact name to move it to the Ignored tab.

  • Check invalid records: Review and correct any flagged entries in the Invalid tab.


5. Start the Enrichment

Click Start Enrichment to begin.

You’ll see live progress updates (e.g., “5/18 🔄).

You can process up to 100 contacts simultaneously. Large files are queued automatically.


6. Review and Export Results

Once complete:


Option 2: Manual Enrichment (One-by-One)

1. Navigate to the Manual Enrichment Option

  • Click Enrichment on top left of your page.

  • Click Enrich manually.

2. Add Contact Information

Include either:

  • first name + last name + company name/website, and/or

  • LinkedIn profile URL


3. Select Enrichment Type

Choose what to find:

  • work email

  • personal email

  • personal phone number

Or any combination of these.


4. Select List

Choose where to save the contact:

  • Type an existing list name in the search bar, or

  • Click an existing list name, or

  • Click + New List to create one.



5. Start the Enrichment

Click Enrich Phone & Work Email.

You’ll see live progress updates (e.g., “4/16 🔄).


6. Review and Export Results

Once complete:


Option 3: API & No-Code Integrations

Use FullEnrich’s API or connect through no-code tools like Clay, Zapier, Make, or n8n to automate enrichment workflows.

Re-Enriching Existing Contacts

If you’ve already enriched emails and now want to add phone numbers (or vice versa), follow these steps:

  1. Re-upload the same file using identical identifiers (name, company, LinkedIn).

  2. Choose the new enrichment type (e.g., Phone if you previously enriched emails, or Email if you previously enriched phone numbers).

  3. Start the enrichment - you won’t be charged again. Contacts enriched within 3 months are automatically deduplicated.

Note: Enriched contacts are automatically deleted after 3 months. Export a copy before that period ends, as deleted records cannot be retrieved.
