Overview
Enrichment typically takes between 40 seconds and 2 minutes per contact, depending on the data being requested and the providers involved.
FullEnrich searches multiple data providers sequentially to maximise coverage and accuracy, so some enrichments may take longer than others.
Typical Enrichment Times
On average, you can expect:
Phone numbers: 40–80 seconds
Emails: 1–2 minutes
Email and phone numbers: 1–2 minutes
In some cases, email enrichment can take up to 3 minutes, particularly for catch-all addresses that require additional verification.
Why Isn’t Enrichment Instant?
FullEnrich uses a waterfall process, searching across multiple data providers one after another. Some providers can take up to 40 seconds to return a result, and when several providers need to be queried, the total processing time can increase.
Email results may also go through additional verification. We use multiple verification providers to improve accuracy, and catch-all addresses can require an extra verification step. This can add time to the enrichment process.
The goal is to balance speed with coverage and data accuracy rather than returning the first available result.
Enriching in Bulk
Bulk enrichments are processed concurrently, so enriching 500 contacts does not take 500 times as long as enriching a single contact.
Each workspace can process up to 100 contacts concurrently. For larger files, contacts that exceed this limit are queued and processed as capacity becomes available.
For example, when enriching 2,000 or 5,000 contacts, batches of contacts are processed simultaneously rather than one contact at a time. This allows large enrichments to complete significantly faster than if every contact were processed sequentially.
During periods of high activity, some contacts may spend additional time in the queue before processing begins.
Can I Close FullEnrich While It’s Processing?
Yes. Enrichments run in the background, so once an enrichment has started, you can close FullEnrich or turn off your computer. Processing will continue automatically. You’ll receive an email when your enrichment is complete.
Best Practices
Include the contact’s LinkedIn URL whenever possible to improve matching.
For large enrichments, allow additional time for contacts to move through the queue.
Avoid restarting an enrichment if it appears to be taking longer than expected. Processing continues in the background.
You can safely close your browser once an enrichment has started. You’ll receive an email when it’s complete.
